Enjoyed all the items with one exception. The Bucks Fizz Marshmallow was not unpleasant but the taste was just on the outside.
I was very sceptical about the Turkish Delight Fudge, as I do not like Turkish Delight (mainly texture) but as a fudge, it totally worked for us. Again, mulled wine, something I don’t normally like, I really enjoyed.
Everything else very representative of its description and would definitely purchase in larger quantities

Bucks Fizz marshmellow - not my cup of tea
Snowball fudge - deliously sickly sweet :)
Raindeer Poo - omg, chocolate heaven
Turkish Delight fudge - the taste of christmases past, what a lovely surprise
Cranberry and apple marshmellow - wonderfully light fluffy and just the right amountof stickiness
Mulled wine mellow - the smell is intoxicating, just missing the candle lights and wood fire !! - yummy
Gingerbread mellow - tastes just like gingerbread - delicious
Rummy Raisan tablet - grandpa' favourite ;)
Almond tablet - melts in the mouth

My favourites are definitely the christmas Pudding Fudge, reindeer Poo and Turkish Delight fudge - buts thats just my preference, overall the samples i had were all yummy and definitely something there for everyones tastes.

I bought this for a friend who loves puffins for her birthday. I've had to wrap them up as I'm so tempted to open the packet - eat them all!

I bought this as a present for a puffin mad friend. I thought it was something a little bit different. It smells so nice.

Ordered on line and took it on a trip back to Lerwick this week. Lovely choc and coconut sweet, great for a picnic in the sun. Yes it was sunny in Lerwick.😎

We enjoyed everything in the box especially the mulled wine. Each piece tasted as described.

Have only tried the Mallows so far ( ok finished them 🤣) and they are delicious. Will try to update this when we have tried more if possible and if not will give you a verbal when we visit you in September 😍

Loved this! Really wasn't sure what to expect, but there was a wide range of lovely samples to try out; fudge, mallow, tablet & poo. All delicious and a lot of fun to try. Would highly recommend & will sign up again next year

So glad that I bravely volunteered to do this essential bit of work for Island Larder - someone had to step up! I have systematically inhaled the contents of the sample box and have a few comments to share.

Reindeer Poo - an acquired taste ... but I acquired it. Solid chunky and tasty with nice textures.

Rummy Raisin tablet - BINGO! Perfection - with an Irish coffee - wow!

Almond tablet - I'm such a fan of this, it was just wonderful.

Snowball Fudge - can't remember the last time I had a snowball! Brought back happy Christmassy memories - lovely texture and taste.

Mulled Wine mallow - not sure about this one. Taste was nice enough but the texture was a little odd. Seemed to have "sweated" in the packet. Wouldn't reach for another one.

Cranberry and Apple mallow - really nice taste off this one. Mallow was firmer than usual - not the same "give" as others I've had.

Christmas Pudding fudge - yes please! Delish and moreish.

Gingerbread mallow - will you marry me please? You won my heart with this one. Maybe even more than the churro mallow (my true love up till now)

Turkish Delight fudge - I love TD so I can see where you are coming from with this one but I wasn't a fan. Not very flavoursome (to me) and there was something physically sharp in two of the pieces I had (maybe a piece of rose petal?)

Bucks Fizz mallow - really lovely. Lovely taste, lovely texture - very nice.

So that's my tuppence worth. I'm an absolute amateur who could never achieve the great things that you lassies and lads do every day - I'm such a fan of your work. Occasional boxes from yourselves have helped me through chemo and recovery - and at times your mallows were the only thing I could stomach! Thank you and keep doing what yis are doing! Lang may yer lum reek!
