Christmas cake is a traditional British fruit cake covered with marzipan and decorated in royal icing and this is our ultimate, fastest selling cake we make (well not us but my Mam, she is sort of famous for her baking in Shetland so we leave this one to her!).
The cake is packed full of quality dried fruits and mixed peel making sure that each slice is full of texture.
The marzipan is made from Californian almonds which gives it a mild, sweet, aromatic taste with nutty notes.
And the royal icing as you know, the classic icing used for any Christmas cake. Ours is made by hand using free range egg whites.
