Traditional Tablet

I was seriously Disappointed in the Texture of the Tablet.
It does Not Melt in your mouth like my own tablet and many other famous tablets.
Next Vanilla Extract! That’s a NO!! It was overpowering and Vanilla is something I am not keen on if too much.
It was not as described well maybe yes selling 4 Batches at a time but if Shetland Recipe has Vanilla Point it out without me tasting it waiting for it to melt and it didn’t!
Also why White Belgian Choc? Cocoa Butter?Soya? And Lecithin?
Nobody I know has all this added to tablet.
If that’s your secret recipe of 300 yrs please keep it.
I have 2 Unopened packs that I can’t give away!
As for the Mallow omg that too made with Vanilla?
It was Supposed to be Scottish Tablet mix.
It certainly had No Tablet tast!

So Shetlands you put Vanilla Extract in Everything and your tablet doesn’t melt.
I didn’t even bother opening the Puffin Poo as I’ve been underwhelmed with everything.
Thank you for £40 waste of money.
I spent £5 and bought Salted Butter, Milk, Condensed Milk and mixed my own it was Perfect!
Mrs Tilly’s from Larbert make one of the Best Scottish Tablets if you can’t make your own and No Additives!

Fabulous. A very highly quality product delivered very promptly. The first taste brought back great memories of my granny making it and us having to wait in anticipation for it to be cool enough to taste.
